Borderline personality

A person with borderline personality disorder is emotionally supersensitive to events

in their life, resulting in extreme mood swings with intense anger, panic, despair and

feelings of chronic emptiness. Relationships are unstable and intense, often with an

extreme fear of abandonment. Impulsive and reckless behaviours (including suicide

attempts and self-harm) are common. There may also be brief episodes of paranoia

and loss of touch with reality.

Do you have any pervasive patterns of thinking and behaving that are

a problem for you or those who are close to you?
